COLUMBUS Blue Society Knowledge Transfer Award is open
The consortium is looking for examples of Knowledge Transfer activity that are innovative, tailored, integrated, impactful, inspiring leadership and community empowerment, responsible, and leaving a legacy.

The winner of the 1st COLUMBUS Blue Society Knowledge Transfer Award will be announced during the 2nd COLUMBUS Blue Society Knowledge Transfer Annual Conference. This award will highlight best practice examples of successful Knowledge Transfer, specifically those resulting in impactful uptake of research results by end-users thus contributing to Blue Growth and the implementation of marine and maritime policies such as the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD), and those that are in harmony with the principle of Blue Society.

If you know of a person or project that fulfils the requisites, within or outside of your organisation, please share this call with them, or feel free to put me in touch with them. Please also feel free to share this announcement with your networks.

The Prize will be awarded to the application that is most focused on highlighting best practice examples of research which has been transferred to end users and resulted in measurable impact, while supporting the Blue Society vision.

The winner will be presented with a ticket to attend the prestigious and inspirational Pendulum Summit in Dublin, on 10-11 January 2018. The “Breakthrough to Brilliance” conference is the world’s leading business and self-empowerment summit, where leading inspirational minds from all industries and professions gather to stimulate disruptive, game-changing and visionary thinking. AquaTT are sponsoring the prize.
