We all know a picture can be worth a thousand words and that is exactly the case of the photographs that emerged from this contest.

Organized by Today We Have, in cooperation with the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Poland to the UN, Ocean Sanctuary Alliance, Institute of Oceanology  Polish  Academy of Sciences, a EurOcean member, and the Sopot Science Association, the 2017 I LIVE BY THE SEA initiative has elected the winners.

A selection of the works submitted will be presented during the High-Level UN Conference to Support the Implementation of SDG 14, to be held in June 2017 in New York City. In the final stage, the photo exhibition would be moved to the United Nations Headquarters and presented there in a form of an exhibition.

But there’s more… the organizers already announced a new edition so make sure you follow them and do get involved next time.
