The webinar features two experts: Alistair Lane, Executive Director of the European Aquaculture Society (EAS), and Hélène Buisson from Nausicaá and Mr. Goodfish programme.
This event will explore the intersection of ocean literacy and the Aquafood business sector.

Featured Speakers:
Alistair Lane has been the Executive Director of the European Aquaculture Society (EAS) since 2000, managing this International Non-Profit Association of more than 1000 members in over 60 countries. After graduating with an MSc. in Marine Biology, he worked in the aquaculture feeds business for 10 years in UK, France and Spain, with responsibilities in distribution, marketing, and general management.
He has a special interest in aquaculture networks and has been involved in several European initiatives related to sustainable aquaculture development. He regularly presents aquaculture issues to European policy makers and is an expert for the European Commission and the Research Council of Norway on evaluating research and innovation projects.
Hélène Buisson is involved in international educational cooperation for over 15 years, fascinated by the world of gastronomy and its necessary adaptation for sustainability, Hélène combines passion, values and commitment within the Mr.Goodfish programme, in charge of coordinating the network of fishmongers. Today, Hélène likes to use her project management and event organisation skills to strengthen the commitment and development of the aquatic products sector within Mr.Goodfish, programme where interdisciplinarity and teamwork play a key role.
