EurOcean is happy to announce that its network is being strengthened by the addition of a new member, the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI).
CMMI was established in April 2019 and is a Centre of Excellence for Marine and Maritime research, innovation and technology development (RTDI). The Institute’s vision is to drive sustainable Blue Growth and is driven by the needs of the Industry and Society and aims in addressing the major challenges that the Marine and Maritime sectors face.
EurOcean’s network and its new member CMMI will thus unite their efforts for the development of marine science and technology and a sustainable blue economy, promoting a healthier use of the ocean.
This network is an unmistakable sign of the importance of collaboration between European ocean research organisations to foster information exchange, interaction, and innovation that promote changes in society and the planet.
