We are pleased to announce that the application period for the 2nd edition of the Mário Ruivo Memorial Lecture will open soon. Early career ocean researchers are invited to participate in this prestigious initiative, which honors Professor Mário Ruivo’s legacy and supports the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development goals.
The selected winner will have the opportunity to present the project during the IOC-UNESCO Assembly in 2025, following the success of the first edition in 2023.
Applications will officially open by the end of September.
