The new report from the Global Ocean Acidification Observing Network, led by UNESCO Ocean, the University of Washington (USA), and Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML) (UK), presents a community vision that advocates the need to promote cooperation in ocean acidification research, improve the understanding of the phenomenon’s impacts, and ultimately develop approaches to mitigate its effects by addressing the sources and identifying adaptation strategies.
