The #EU4Ocean is pleased to announce Episode 9 of its webinar series, taking place on 24 June 2025 at 15:00 CEST, and dedicated to a vital topic: how ocean literacy can support the development of a responsible and inclusive Blue Carbon business.
Blue carbon ecosystems like seagrasses, salt marshes, and mangroves play a vital role in climate mitigation, biodiversity, and coastal protection. But scaling up blue carbon initiatives requires more than just science, it needs public understanding, inclusive policies, and responsible innovation. Episode 9 explores how ocean literacy can bridge these gaps and help build a trustworthy, equitable blue carbon economy.
