EurOcean Member CNR-IRSA seeking to join existing consortium for Horizon Europe call HORIZON-CL6-2025-01-ZEROPOLLUTION-04

CNR-IRSA (Water Research Institute of the National Research Council of Italy) expresses their interest in joining an existing consortium applying for the Horizon Europe call HORIZON-CL6-2025-01-ZEROPOLLUTION-04.

They are currently seeking opportunities to contribute as a partner to a well-structured proposal, and we believe our multidisciplinary expertise aligns strongly with the call's objectives.

CNR-IRSA can provide significant support in several key areas, including:

  • Integrated monitoring and assessment of plastics and microplastics in aquatic systems
  • Microbial and functional profiling of plastic-associated biofilms and related health risks
  • Strengthened cooperation with institutional stakeholders to support environmental monitoring and policy development

The team includes experts in environmental microbiology, water treatment technologies, microplastic analysis, and ecotoxicology, and is actively engaged in national and international research initiatives related to plastic pollution and water quality.

Please find a detailed document outlining their potential contributions to the expected outcomes of the call, as well as a list of relevant ongoing research projects, here.
