The fifth EU Blue Parks Community workshop, titled "Achieving Mission Ocean and Waters Protection Targets: Showcasing the EU Blue Parks Projects", will take place online on 19 November 2025, from 10:00 to 13:00 CET.
This event is part of a continuing series of workshops supporting the EU Blue Parks Community, which brings together over 115 organisations committed to marine protection under the EU Mission Ocean and Waters. The upcoming edition will highlight the progress, outcomes and expected impact of EU-funded projects contributing to marine protected areas (MPAs) and ocean restoration.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
-
Learn from EU funded projects on good practices, impact and implemented solutions on Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) to reach the targets of the Mission Ocean and Waters for the protection and restoration of EU sea areas by 2030.
-
Exchange on opportunities to enhance synergies among projects to increase replication and upscaling of EU MPAs designation, management and/or monitoring.
Registration is open: here.
The workshop agenda will be published soon on the Mission Ocean portal.
