On 25 November 2025, the SMARTDEC Transnational Workshop will take place at the Leixões Cruise Terminal in Porto, during Business2Sea 2025. Co-organised by the University of Aveiro, CESAM, and Forum Oceano, the event will focus on innovation for maritime decarbonisation.

The workshop will bring together technology developers from Portugal, Spain, France, and Ireland, alongside key maritime stakeholders, to showcase solutions, exchange insights, and explore new collaborations toward a low-carbon maritime future.
