The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership is pleased to invite you to its second Symposium, titled “Full Sail Ahead towards a Sustainable Blue Economy”.

This Symposium marks an important milestone in the Partnership’s development. Building on the successful first edition held in Brussels in 2024, the event will highlight progress at the midway point of the Partnership’s implementation. It will present the achievements and impact of the 43 transnational co-funded projects and offer a platform to introduce upcoming priorities, funding opportunities and new activities.

The event will bring together more than 100 researchers, policymakers, industry representatives, civil society organisations and other stakeholders from across Europe and beyond who are committed to advancing a climate-neutral, resilient and inclusive blue economy. Taking place in Bucharest, the Symposium will shine a particular spotlight on the Black Sea region, underscoring the Partnership’s focus on regional collaboration and its sea basin approach.

Participants are also warmly invited to an icebreaker dinner on Tuesday 10 February, as well as a networking reception following the Symposium on Wednesday 11 February.
