In 2025 and early 2026, CESAM launched a total of 68 research projects, securing more than €14.29 million in funding and confirming its strong scientific leadership at national, European and international levels. The Centre coordinated the majority of these projects, alongside strategic participation as a partner, reflecting its maturity in managing competitive research initiatives addressing key environmental and societal challenges.
This portfolio includes European, international and national projects, as well as service provision contracts with public and private partners, reinforcing CESAM’s role at the interface between science, policy and society. These results further strengthen CESAM’s contribution to climate action, environmental health and sustainability, in line with its One Health approach and its 25th-anniversary vision of Caring for the Future.
