The 2026 edition of the I Live by the Sea International Youth Photo and Film Contest celebrates its 10th anniversary, after inspiring 1,743 young people from 30 countries to share their connection to the sea.

Young people aged 5 to 21 worldwide are invited to submit one photo or one short film with accompanying text exploring what “your sea” means to you.

Selected works will be showcased at the St. John's Cultural Center, hosted by the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre. The contest also supports the mission of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
