EurOcean participated in both days of the conference “Riding the Wave: Advancing the EU Ocean Pact through Science, Innovation and Cooperation”, held in Ammochostos, Cyprus, on 11–12 May 2026.

The event brought together stakeholders from across science, policy, industry and innovation to discuss pathways towards ocean sustainability, blue innovation and the implementation of the EU Ocean Pact.

For EurOcean, the conference was a valuable opportunity to engage with the organisations present, contribute to the ongoing discussions and strengthen networking and collaboration across the European ocean community.

A warm thank you to the organisers for hosting this inspiring and collaborative event, and for bringing together such a diverse range of voices working towards a sustainable ocean future.
