The Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences recently welcomed representatives from the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland in New Zealand and the Italian marine technology company ARGO s.r.l. to discuss future scientific and technological cooperation.

During the visit, the Institute presented the concept for the new Oceania II research vessel and explored opportunities to integrate innovative technologies that will support future oceanographic research.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to strengthen international partnerships and exchange expertise on the development of modern marine research infrastructure, highlighting the importance of collaboration in advancing ocean science.
