The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) will organise the ICTürkiye2026 International Online Brokerage Event on 29 September 2026, bringing together organisations from Türkiye and across the Horizon Europe community to develop new partnerships and prepare for upcoming funding opportunities.
Held fully online in cooperation with the Enterprise Europe Network, the event is organised within the Technical Assistance for Türkiye in Horizon Europe project, carried out under the Competitive Sectors Programme and co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye.
ICTürkiye2026 is aimed at universities and research organisations, SMEs and large companies, innovative start-ups and technology developers, public institutions and agencies, as well as sectoral associations and clusters. Participants can join with a project idea looking for partners or with expertise and capabilities that could contribute to future projects.
Preparing for the calls ahead
With the 2026–2027 Horizon Europe Work Programme representing the final major package of funding under the current programme, building partnerships early can help organisations prepare strong proposals for the remaining opportunities, particularly those opening in 2027.
The programme will combine information sessions on Horizon Europe and upcoming calls with practical workshops on Cascade Funding and Financial Support to Third Parties and Lump Sum Funding. Participants will also be able to pitch project ideas and arrange bilateral meetings with potential partners.
The B2Match matchmaking platform will remain open for five months after the event, from October 2026 into the first quarter of 2027, allowing participants to continue identifying partners and developing collaborations as proposals take shape.
Four thematic areas
ICTürkiye2026 will focus on:
-
Digital and Smart Health, including AI-based tools and digital healthcare solutions
-
Twin Green and Digital Transformation of Industry, covering manufacturing, construction and energy-intensive industries
-
Smart Mobility, including connected and automated mobility, transport, logistics and smart urban mobility
-
Smart and Renewable Energy, including renewable generation, storage, flexibility and digitalised energy systems
The event aims to strengthen connections between the Turkish and European research and innovation ecosystems and support increased participation in Horizon Europe. The partnerships established through the event could also provide a foundation for future collaboration under the next EU research and innovation programme, starting in 2028.
ICTürkiye2026 will take place online on 29 September 2026 and is open to participants from countries eligible to participate in Horizon Europe.
Participants can register and complete their cooperation profiles on the B2Match platform to start connecting with potential partners ahead of the event: here.
