The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership has opened its fourth Joint Transnational Call, offering around €38 million in funding for transnational research and innovation projects supporting a sustainable, resilient and innovative blue economy.
The call focuses on four priority areas: sustainable and strategically autonomous blue economy sectors; digital and ecosystem-based approaches to managing sea uses; sustainable blue bioresources; and resilience in coastal communities. Projects should run for 36 months and are encouraged to address at least two European sea basins.
Consortia must include eligible partners from at least three participating countries and request funding from at least three participating funding organisations. Applicants are encouraged to involve stakeholders from industry, public authorities, civil society and other relevant sectors.
Pre-proposals must be submitted by 16 November 2026 at 15:00 CET, with full proposals due on 14 June 2027.
