Are you a passionate PhD researcher in environmental and marine sciences seeking to elevate your research career? The Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies (CESAM) at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, invites you to apply for the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF) 2025 (deadline 10 September 2025)!
By applying for an MSCA-PF with CESAM, you’re pursuing two exceptional funding opportunities:
1. The first opportunity is to receive funding from the MSCA Postdoctoral mechanism. The MSCA is a prestigious and well-funded grant that has a high positive impact on a researcher’s CV.
2. If an application exceeds the quality threshold, but is not funded in the MSCA selection process, it will be eligible for the ERA Fellowship call (without further application, just a tick in the application form). The ERA fellowships support the widening countries (that includes Portugal) to enhance research and innovation capacity in these regions.
Eligibility:
- Open to researchers of any nationality;
- Maximum 8 years full-time equivalent research experience post-PhD;
- Mobility rule: You must not have resided or conducted your main activity in Portugal for more than 12 months in the 36 months before the call deadline.
