The NAUTILOS Project Final Conference will take place on May 19, 2025, bringing together experts, policymakers, and ocean stakeholders to reflect on the project’s achievements and discuss the future of accessible and inclusive ocean science.
Under the theme “Advancing the Democratisation of Ocean Science,” the event, endorsed by the UN Ocean Decade, will highlight how NAUTILOS has contributed to enhancing ocean observations, open data accessibility, and innovative technologies that support marine research and policymaking. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions on groundbreaking innovations developed throughout the project and their impact on future ocean research.
The conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing attendees to join either in person at the Escola do Mar dos Açores in Horta, Portugal, or online.
