Nautilos Summer School on Marine Litter

Nautilos project is organizing a 4-day Summer School for early career scientists and marine technicians interested in the blue economy and open data sharing. It will take place from 4-7 September 2023 at the Norwegian Institute for water Research (NIVA) and at the OceanLab facilities of the OsloMet University at the Oslo fjord.

The overall aim of this course is to develop professional skills and competencies relating to marine litter.

The Summer School will provide lectures, discussions, practical sampling, measurements, marine data interpretation, and a small scientific expedition on board a vessel for a hands-on experience. Candidates will learn about different sensors and measuring systems developed by the Nautilos project.
