YOLA Project Kicks Off at Nausicaá!

The Youth Ocean Leadership and Advocacy (YOLA) project officially launched with a Kick-Off Meeting at Nausicaá – Centre National de la Mer in France. This three-year initiative, co-funded by Erasmus+, aims to empower young people (18-30) with leadership and advocacy skills to drive ocean conservation and climate action.

EurOcean is proud to be one of the partners in this collaborative effort, alongside Nausicaá (Project Coordinator), Ghent University – MarineTraining & EMBRC, Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IOPAN), and Today We Have. Together, we will develop advocacy tools and training modules to equip youth with the knowledge needed to engage in ocean governance at all levels.

We are excited to contribute to this important initiative and look forward to the journey ahead!
